Do you have a child inspired by how things work? Does your kid love to create things, possibly with LEGOs? Imagine your son or daughter not only building their favorite animal, but also bringing it to life with movement and sound.
Classroom Antics’ LEGO Robotics Jungle Bricks camp combines engineering and environmental science to allow our campers to bring their LEGO creations to life. They use a provided computer to program their LEGO animals to move and make sound. Can’t quite imagine what that looks like? Check out the following, where you can see an exmaple of the LEGO WeDo technology used in our camps:
If your daughter or son is interested in video games, computers, LEGOs, creating things or finding out how things work, this class is for them. It’s a great way to peak their interest, get their creative juices flowing and engage them in summer activities that are both educational and fun.
Campers and parents alike have enjoyed our LEGO Robotics classes year after year. One parent from our 2017 summer camps said, “We are beyond happy with this program and I love that it is being taught by teachers that have experience with children.” We employ a professional teaching staff with your child’s best interest in mind.
Jungle Bricks is for children ages 7-9, and each camper gets their own computer to work with during the week. Your child doesn’t have to have any kind of experience with computer programming prior to attending.
