In participation with Hour of Code™, Classroom Antics is offering free programs in video game design using Kodu® by Microsoft® for kids in grades 1-3 to open their minds to what they can create with code. Register today to join us for this hour-long video game design adventure in our STEM Activity Center in North Royalton!
What Kids Will Learn
By joining us for Hour of Code, kids will start their journey in game design by creating their own video game. This event is intended to be an introduction to video game design to help kids determine their interest in game design, programming, and computer science. Kids will develop their own world, character, and character movement using Kodu software from Microsoft. Bring a USB flash drive to save your game to play at home and receive a copy of Kodu for Windows.

What is Hour of Code?
Every year, during Computer Science Education Week, which occurs in early December, leading organizations across the United States like Classroom Antics offer free educational programs to school-aged kids to awaken them to the enriching world of computer science. These activities are intended for beginner-level to encourage further learning.
This Hour of Code program is provided free-of-charge by Classroom Antics in hopes of inspiring today’s kids to make tomorrow great.
