Kids come up with some of the most creative ideas to innovate and improve our world, making them tomorrow’s real world heroes! Robotics Camp Real World Heroes is the camp for your 10-14 year old that loves LEGOs, Battlebots, programming and figuring out how to make the world better. If they loved Junior LEGO Robotics camp, they’ll love this one even more. It’s also the camp for parents that want to provide STEM enrichment for their kids, whether to beat a summer slump or to nurture their interests. If your pre-teen is showing favor for computers, technology, robotics or even engineering, Real World Heroes is the camp for them.
“The classes were designed for fun learning” – 2017 summer camp parent about Robotics Camp (10-14 yrs)
Through building and programming LEGO robots, campers will gain a deeper understanding of how to tackle some of today’s biggest challenges. They’ll be challenged themselves to help think of ways to solve real-world problems. Each camper will use a provided laptop and LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robotics kits to build and program their robot. Combining engineering, automation, problem-solving and programming skills, kids will have a blast while learning and expanding their experiences. At the end of the week, campers will bring home pictures of and stories about their robots. Some kids even take this summer camp to prepare for LEGO League in the fall.
Whether you’re sick of hearing “I’m bored” over the summer, or you simply don’t want your kid to experience any kind of educational slip during break, Classroom Antics’ summer tech camps are a fun introduction and exploration of robotics, programming and engineering. Each year, parents tell us how they signed their child up again because both the child and themselves had a great experience in previous years with Classroom Antics. Especially for the kids already passionate in the areas of STEM, Real World Heroes is sure to delight.
