Classroom Antics Overview
Classroom Antics was formed to inspire, excite, and enrich the lives of kids in today’s technology world, by delivering educational hands-on programs that promote creativity and teamwork.
Over the past few decades, our world has been turned upside-down with advances in science and technology. So the question becomes, how do we prepare our children to do more than just use these advances, but prepare them to invent tomorrow’s advances. Classroom Antics is working to do just that, by offering diverse hands-on STEAM-focused programs taught by some of the areas brightest teachers that show kids how to apply STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) principles to arrive at creative solutions.
Toby Foote – Founder, Director
Growing up, Toby was highly interested in science and technology, and his desire to explore this area of study didn’t stop after he obtained his degree in Information Science from the University of Cincinnati. He then proceeded to spend numerous years gaining additional programming and technology experience at organizations such as NASA, Compass Technologies, and KeyBank. But after having children of his own, Toby realized he wanted to use his knowledge and experience for the betterment of all children, and formed Classroom Antics.
Today, Toby takes great pride in knowing that since Classroom Antics’ inception in 2007, over 10,000 children (including his own) have been able to channel their excitement, and creativity, into highly valuable technology skills.
