Science Summer Camp
Join the team and unravel the science, technology, engineering, and math behind the Olympic Games.
What Kids Learn in Science Camp
In Olympic Science Camp, kids learn about the work sports scientists do to both protect athletes and improve their performance at all levels of competition. Campers conduct hands-on activities to learn how the brain controls our movements, design protective equipment, and gain a better understanding of how science plays into playing sports at the Olympic level.
It is often a single point or fraction of a second between the winner and the loser. In Olympic Science Camp kids will learn how to help the next great athlete become an amazing one.
This science camp will also help make watching the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo more exciting.
Note: Computers are not used in this camp; and if your child was enrolled in Classroom Antics Maker M.D. or Gold Medal Engineers after school club, some of the material may be familiar.
