Our son had a fantastic time attending both Minecraft and Programming: Creative Coders. I was pleased to see many diverse females and males in his class as coding skills are important for everyone! The instructors were fantastic; we received a daily email with specifics on what our son had done each day. He received a jump drive with all his programs and at the end of the week had learned a great deal and had fun doing so! I especially loved that the class had many hands-on activities so that students were not simply staring at screens for an entire session. We will definitely be back next year and bringing our daughter too, now that she will be ready!read more

My son has participated in these camps for years. He always enjoys it, and I have been consistently impressed with the staff. I have liked that kids could work at their own pace, with extra help if they are struggling, and extra challenges if they pick up the material quickly. This year my son is 14, and camp was bittersweet because it’s his last year. If they increased the age limit, he’d keep going.read more

My son completed the Stop Motion Animation Brick Flicks and loved it. He not only gained the skills of how to create a Lego movie, but learned how to use the software, camera, and his creativity to complete the movie. He loved the camp and I was impressed with his final project! The instructors were great, too. Definitely doing this camp again next summer. Well worth it if you have a child or children who like computers and you want them to learn something more than just playing games. I highly recommend Classroom Antics!read more

This was my 11 year old son's first year attending a camp thru Classroom Antics. He really enjoyed the youtubers camp and he is interested in attending the video game camp next year. It was a good combination of learning and fun and teamwork with the other kids. A good way to motivate children to learn about computers and all the fun things they can do with them.read more

Over the past 4 years, my sons have thoroughly enjoyed the Classroom Antics courses. The instructors are positive and encourage students as they apply their newly learned concepts. My son attended Lego Robotics and Video Game Programming: Arcade Generation last week. He came home and seemed surprised that they were actually fun! He thought he would just be "learning" not actually building robots and programming video games! He was mentally stimulated, excited about going, and sad when they ended! He LOVED LOVED LOVED these camps, told me they were the best camps he has ever attended (and he's been attending camps for 7 years), and asked me to make sure I sign him up for more next summer! This was my 8 year old son’s first experience with Classroom Antics and he loved it. He has very limited interests so it’s hard to find a summer camp that he is excited to go to. Classroom Antics was a perfect fit for him. They had a couple classes he was interested in, not just one. He was very sad when class was over for the week.read more

Now a teenager, he's gone through their programs - some more than once - and seeks out opportunities to improve his technology skills. My twin boys just took the junior arcade video game coding class with Miss Kit and they loved it! They are 11 and they complain about every class—either it’s too “kid like” and doesn’t teach them anything or it’s boring and they don’t want to be in school for the summer. I don’t know how they did it, but Miss Kit made them want to go every day! They learned and they loved it! They said it was the first time they weren’t talked down to and they felt like they were really learning about how to use the interfaces with the code. So my son was in Minecraft decoding class this year and the teacher did a amazing job at teaching , answering any or all questions from my son. This is my son second time going but with a different experience and different kind of camp based program. He came home each day so excited to tell me what he learn . He has definitely ended camp with more knowledge of Minecraft then when he first started. He told me the other day he cant wait to go back next year . so he definitely will be returning. I definitely recommend to check it out like I did . my son has a cognitive disability and he doesn't learn like other children would he's very Hands-On. so if you have a child that's a very Hands-On like mine this most definitely will work for yours and he or she will love it . pluse they get a cool t shirt and maybe something a little exstra depending on witch camp / class room they attend . but either way it was worth the exsperious all by it self .read more

The engineering classes offered through after school antics are excellent. Very hands on. Worth the fee. I chose to enroll my family to enhance our child’s introduction to science topics. Because science often takes a backseat to other subjects in school (it’s not a required state test in elementary grades in our state) I want my child’s exposure to be comprehensive even if I have to pay for it.read more

We sent a youth from our group home to the Video Arcade Design camp and the staff were so helpful and patient with his needs. The youth we signed up for the camp has emotional and behavioral struggles due to his past with biological family. The staff were so patient, caring and understanding. They didn't make him feel different or out of place. The registration process was seamless, and everything else was perfect also! Will definitely use them in the future for our other youth!read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Extremely basic program, not at all what was advertised. Kids were bored, didn't learn anything new. I emailed my concerns, and never received a response. Many other parents I spoke to were also very disappointed in this program. Do not waste your money.read more

Classroom Antics gives my sons experiences that they don't get in the classroom. The camp provides a great opportunity to build, code, problem solve, consult with peers, and meet new friends. The instructors are teachers. Classrooms are open for you to stop in at the end of each day to see the day's work. And instructors send daily emails to keep parents informed.read more

Classroom Antics is a wonderful program. My Grandson couldn't wait to get to class everyday to learn something new. He hated to see camp come to an end. The staff were wonderful! My ten year old son has participated in four 1/2 day camps hosted by Classroom Antics over the last two summers and he absolutely LOVES them. This was a great program. My son learned a ton of valuable information and he was really challenged in a unique way that made learning fun. Teachers were very friendly and happy to be there with the students. Great experience, we will be back next year.read more

2019-We just finished year 2 of summer Classroom Antics classes- this time both son and daughter participated. Feel the same way as last year...this year my son took Game Design and Stop Motion Lego Animation and daughter took Lego Programming and Game Design. Both learned lots...2018-Our son had a fantastic time attending both Minecraft and Programming: Creative Coders. I was pleased to see many diverse females and males in his class as coding skills are important for everyone! The instructors were fantastic; we received a daily email with specifics on what our son had done each day. He received a jump drive with all his programs and at the end of the week had learned a great deal and had fun doing so! I especially loved that the class had many hands-on activities so that students were not simply staring at screens for an entire session. We will definitely be back next year and bringing our daughter too, now that she will be ready!read more
