VEX Robotics is a world-renowned competitive robotics platform that we are excited to offer in 2023! Our campers will use engineering skills to build their robots, technology skills to program their robots and strategy skills to determine their game play. These robots have joystick controllers, allowing the code to work in conjunction with their real-time input.

In VEX IQ Robotics, kids will build, program and control their robots to think, move and react to various fun and exciting challenges. Every camper will have access to their own laptop, robot,and joystick controller using a shared playing field. Challenges will be individual at first, but can become competition based at the end. While the robots, joysticks and computers will remain at camp, each camper will get an engineering notebook to take home. They will be taught how engineers use lab notes to document what they think will work, what didn’t work, and finally what did work. Plenty of pictures will be shared on social media after camp is over.
