Join us in the Wacky Weather module as we learn about the many types of weather, from sunshine, summery days to the more extreme natural disasters. We will learn about how these phenomena happen, and the work engineers are doing to protect people from it. In this Engineering Club module, we will recreate some of the tools meteorologists use, like weathervanes and sundials, as well as engineer some new products to protect houses from mudslides. We will even model the earth as we learn about the different layers and how they cause earthquakes. Throughout this module, students will learn more about meteorology and why the weather is as wacky as it seems.
