2022 Red Apple Award Recipients

What is The Red Apple Award?

Classroom Antics summer camps are amazing experiences, filled with vast educational enrichment, new friends, and lifetime memories. These experiences are made possible by our experienced teachers. From their preparation and training to be masters of the technologies they teach to the high-energy they deliver in the classroom during the week of camp, our teachers run a fun, educational, and professional camp. Red Apple Awards recognize our teachers who go above and beyond for their students and their families.

More About our Teacher of the Year

Julie Bodette has been teaching with Classroom Antics since 2019. Her passion for coding and creating video games have caused her campers and their parents to recognize the level of excellence she brings to the content she teaches. Julie understands STEAM concepts so well that she quickly became the person that campers and other instructors could go to with their questions. She encourages creativity, cheers with student successes, and helps when help is needed. Julie exhibits the excellence that we strive for at Classroom Antics. As one parent said: “Julie was great! Her passion and excitement encouraged my son. I would definitely book another class with her.” Thank you, Julie!

More About our Rookie of the Year

Alka Paulose was a last-minute hire and a gift to us at Classroom Antics this year! She stepped in earlier than expected, and proved that she had worked hard to prepare herself before she arrived. Then, upon teaching the curriculum, she exhibited great excitement at the content, always learning the answers to any questions campers had so that they would walk away with as much knowledge as possible. Alka’s smile and joy were infectious. As one parent said about Alka: “The instructor was AMAZING! Her kindness, enthusiasm, and excitement about the class and the kids made it such a wonderful experience! She was born to teach! We will definitely do it again and hope we get her as the instructor!” Thank you, Alka!
