Kids In Summer School

Kids Voluntarily Going to Summer School

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Original Press Release

Cleveland, OH – Over 1,700 kids in Ohio age 7-13 are voluntarily signing up for summer school to take 15 hours of class to learn science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) skills. Any parent who has ever struggled to get a child to complete homework may wonder how this is possible, but the answer is … kids love learning what they love.

Classroom Antics, a leading provider of technology summer camps in Ohio, has been capitalizing on kids’ enthusiasm for technology to teach valuable STEAM skills even in the middle of summer. It is no surprise that kids want to spend their downtime playing video games, watching movies, and building with LEGO® bricks. However, some parents view these activities as time wasters and struggle to see how they could possibly be helping their child be successful.

Why Should Kids Go to Summer School for STEM?

Yet, it is clear that the demand for jobs in STEM-related fields is greatly increasing. According to Change the Equation’s, The Diversity Dilemma, 2015 study, “Between 2014 and 2024, growth in computing, advanced manufacturing, and engineering will meet or greatly exceed growth in non-STEM jobs.”

That is just one of the reasons why Classroom Antics has found a way to take kids’ passions and combine them with top instructors to create amazing things. By offering Tech Camps in video game design, coding, LEGO robotics, and stop motion animation, Classroom Antics allows kids to transfer their excitement for all things tech into valuable skills they can use now and into the future, all while having a great time. This is why so many kids are signing up to go to a summer school.

Classroom Antics offers their Tech Camps over the summer June 8 – August 7 in over 25 locations throughout Ohio in Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati. The Tech Camps are half-day format (9 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1 p.m.-4 p.m.), with a full-day option also available.

Classroom Antics is an Ohio-based leading provider of technology education to kids that was founded to inspire, excite, and enrich the lives of children in today’s technology world, and to deliver educational hands-on programs that promote creativity and teamwork.
